Rio 2016 - Good Bye, Any Lessons for Nigeria/Africa?
A look a the table of Medals, make one feel that some are just not ready for the games. What are the reasons for such bad performances? Europe as Continent leads in the number of medals followed way behind by the America's, what is Africa doing wrong?
This is a challenge for not just Nigeria but for the African Union, through their regional associations to look at how Africa can upt their performance in the next Olympics four years from now.
What are we good at that the other can follow? How can we get such sports into the Olympics, by standardizing the rules of the games and getting to international standards.
Japan is getting ready for 2020, as host Nation, what are they doing that other host Nations did to shine during the games.t
Africa supplies athletes to every continent on Earth, What I am yet to see is an American/European/Asian coming to proudly represent Africa in any sports, how can we reduce the migration of top resources for the upliftment of our dear continent? I long to see regional sporting facilities of International standards, built and well maintained for Africans to develop their raw potentials into winning edged materials in not only sports, but all works of life.
I have Hope, that Nigeria, yes Africa will do well next time, if we start our preps now.
Again, good bye Rio 2016, welcome Japan 2020.

8yMany unanswered questions Sir, hhhhm, and it ll remain unanswered unless we free ourselves from such unpatriotic elements that are leading us. Imagine Nigerian athletes going to Rio 2016 without their kits only to arrived when most of them were 'knocked out '.
