Quality in, quality out

Carlo Baas has been working at Modiform for many years - since 3 January 2011, to be exact. Modiform was already supplying high-quality products back then, but we didn’t yet have a Quality Control department. Carlo: “In those days, we actually could only tell the quality once the products rolled off the machine.” 

You’re never done with quality, of course; it’s a matter of learning from experience and constant adjustment and improvement. With our Quality Control department, our work is more deliberate and consistent, which benefits our products. Carlo: “To put it very simply: we want to deliver a clean product to our customers. To do that, the raw materials we use to make the products have to be clean, too. If we make high quality film from them, we can also make high quality products from that film. That's why we need to have careful quality control. That way we create a stable process and we can guarantee uniform quality from all our factories. In addition, we actively seek solutions for problems we encounter in the supply chain. We engage with suppliers and customers, observing and contributing ideas, for example. That all provides input for our quality inspections, and the other party benefits from it, too. This is a win-win situation that ultimately benefits our customers as well. Then the circle is complete!”
