The Power of Mentorship
It was a mentor who first challenged me to write an article on LinkedIn. With so much out there on the World Wide Web, I wondered what I could add that may be of value to others. What would warrant someone taking a minute to read what I had written and, hopefully, reflect on their own lives?
Since it was a mentor who challenged me to stretch myself and write the article, I thought “Why not shine a light on the power of mentorship?”
A great mentor is someone who encourages you to step out of your comfort zone, to grow and discover capabilities you didn’t even know you had.
For me, this mentor was Chris Haroun. Thank you Chris for your inspiration, your kindness, your generosity of spirit and for making a difference to so many. Thank you for challenging me to stretch myself, leave my comfort zone, and do something I may not have otherwise done.

I challenge you to try something new and to find a mentor who will encourage, stretch and support you.
