Whether in business or life in general, being genuine and authentic are corner stones of success. They are crucial to having a valuable interaction with your audience.

This interaction gets even more difficult when you’re presenting a novel, creative idea.

Start-ups especially must fight against an initial defensive attitude, mainly when convincing investors that their idea is profitable and scalable.

In these situations, simply putting together a few PowerPoint slides isn’t enough. The entire presentation needs to be consistent, concise, and visually appealing. In the best-case scenario, this won’t be presented by shy Tony from HR. If there is no alternative, Tony should at least have taken an intensive public speaking workshop from a presentation expert.
