It is only 12 months from now until the EU general data protection regulation (GDPR) comes into force. In this webcast we will introduce GDPR, outline the range of selected security solutions available from Oracle and relate those solutions to the provisions from the GDPR that they help to address.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will apply to companies in the EU, and also to companies based outside the EU but who offer goods or services to residents in the EU. The fines for non-compliance with the GDPR can be up to 4% of global turnover or €20M whichever is higher and the date for enforcement of the regulation is May 2018.
Oracle offers Security Solutions that may help address some of the requirements relating to securing personal data. Selected security solutions cover database security, identity management, the protection of APIs and security monitoring of hybrid environments.
