New PEEK flow meter for viscous materials

Aquametro, a manufacturer of flow measurement technology, which has a key regional office in Dubai, is introducing a high-precision flow meter specifically designed for very viscous materials such as lubricating oil. Engineered for optimal performance even at very low flow rates, starting from just 5 litres per hour, the new device is designed to enhance efficiency and accuracy in marine applications.

The device features a ring piston designed from high-performance PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone), and is said to offer exceptional chemical resistance, durability, and stability under demanding maritime conditions. The design is intended to ensure the reliable measurement of viscous fluids, making it a positive solution for vessels that require precise monitoring of lubrication oil consumption and distribution.
