My fascination with AI enhancing Enterprise Architecture

Preamble

This transcript was the result of my reading a LinkedIn post by Florian Maurer.

As a Ripose Information Architect I am always fascinated by the claims made by theorists about a subject that no one really understands.

In order to explain why AI will struggle to achieve the claims expressed in Mr. Maurer’s article will lead to “a failure to communicate” (a quote from the movie Cool Hand Luke) I had to use 2 AI engines (Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini) engine to answer 1 question in order to arrive at my Conclusion:

I would like to explain my reasoning why AI is a poor substitute for trying to implement a database solution from Technical Solutions based on Business Requirements. I will demonstrate this with the answers from a single question posed to 2 AI engines. The question being

Can you explain how Advanced AI models will generate dynamic roadmaps that align IT investments with business outcomes, ensuring that architectural decisions are both data-driven and strategically coherent?

The answers I received were analysed and helped me arrive at my Conclusion.
