AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF SOUTH AFRICA...
Nobel thought Mr President but sadly, I am NOT willing to partake in gimmicks anymore. Flags flying at half mast and me wearing a black ribbon isn't going to bring back Leigh Matthews, Francis Rasuge, Reeva Steenkamp, Karabo Mokwena, Uyinene... Had people in this country done what they were sworn into office for, we wouldn't be in this mess! I am busy Mr President. I am moving house, planning my birthday dinner, Move One Million is growing in leaps and bounds in Soweto. I am busy sir. Get busy with corruption as well.
I ran Safe Space Inc., a mental health awareness initiative for TWO FULL YEARS ALONE! Running around shelters, police stations, doing talks, assisting BOTH men and women in abusive relationships. Police officers laughing at abused men, dockets getting 'lost', people taking their lives because YOUR Justice System failed them dismally! So Mr President, contrary to popular belief, running a country as full of potential and as beautiful as South Africa is no brain surgery. All you need is to get rid of people without integrity and replace them with those WITH integrity. Easy peasy! I can think of 5 honest people at the top of my head as I type this.
So solidarotise Mr President. As for this daughter of a taxi owner and a nurse - #andizi! Let's just say I prefer solutions to problems NOT stage plays!
