Move From VMC AWS to NC2 on AWS. 1 - 2 - 3

Simply migrate from VMC on AWS to Nutanix Cloud Clusters(NC2) on AWS with using Nutanix Move. You can deploy your NC2 Cluster into the same AWS account or into a brand new AWS account. The choice is yours.

1) Add an External Tranist Gateway

  • Deploy an external transit gateway(ETG) from the VMC console and accept the peering connection in your AWS account. Set CIDR info to be the same as your NC2 CIDR.

  • Add routes in the ETG to the NC2 VPC and in the NC2 private route table.

2) Edit NSX Firewall and NC2 Security groups to allow traffic.

3) Use Move to simply bring your workloads over.
