Microsoft Azure Arc: A New Innovation in Hybrid Cloud Computing
Microsoft has recently introduced the Azure Arc (Azure Architecture)which will make it easy for applications to run seamlessly across hybrid environments. In simple terms, Microsoft Azure services can be used with any other cloud or on-premise infrastructure. This gives Microsft a competitive edge over other Cloud providers in the market. This is a kind of service that can be utilized by any organization with any form of infrastructure.
The Azure Resource Manager(ARM) is a service layer that controls and automates the deployment and management of Azure resources. It can be used to create or update and automates new resources like VM's. With the introduction of ARC now external resources from other providers can be controlled and managed by ARC. For example, an organization using Google Cloud services and on-premise infrastructure can also use Azure services alongside those services. Kubernetes clusters can also be registered via this service and once registered, the system will manage it as its own Kubernetes service. This is an exciting new development and it will give organizations the capability and flexibility to use any service from anywhere and manage the resources in a better way suited to their needs.
