Lack of AI and automation adoption hinders employee productivity: Slack report | VentureBeat 

A report released by slack finds that companies who are not embracing AI and automation show lower productivity levels than those that have. The author suggests we are moving into a space where this level of automation should be the standard and companies that haven't reached it are falling short. Some highlights from the survey include: 

• Companies that have embraced AI are 90% more likely to report increased productivity levels than those that have not. 
• Most employees surveyed (77%) believe that automating routine tasks, such as obtaining expense report approvals, would enhance their productivity. 
• Most respondents (77%) acknowledged the benefits of automating repetitive tasks in enhancing productivity, though only 45% of teams have implemented automation to perfect their current work processes. 

RPA saving Tennessee 100,000 hours of annual work, official says | State Scoop 

Tennessee's $10 Million automation program, launched in 2020, has now reported over 100,000 hours of labor being saved annually through Robotic Process Automation (RPA) across more than a dozen executive branch agencies. According to Bob Pucci, the state’s director of intelligent automation, what started as a “grassroots” movement in 2020, has grown to a 23-agency effort that could save as much as 250,000 hours by next year.
