Kwaku Bediako is on a mission to create the world’s biggest sustainable fashion brand

Kwaku Bediako Oduro AKA as Kwaku Bediako is a contemporary Ghanian Fashion Designer whose brand, Chocolate Clothes Global, transforms second-hand garments into daring high-fashion pieces via the Fashion House’s Cacao label.

Born 1986 in Port – Harcourt, Nigeria, he later moved to Ghana with his parents and at a point later in life, launched Chocolate Clothes Global. However, in his bid to reduce wastages his production chain and promote sustainability, Bediako started sustainable design brand label which uses discarded fabrics and second-hand clothes to produce new garments.

His pieces, a stunning fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary sophistication, have been worn by stars across the world including Stevie Wonder, Ian Wright, and Steve Harvey; Other celebrities to adorn his creative designs include NFL Player Ziggy Ansah, Jussie Smollett and Boris Kodjoe.

In 2014, Bediako’s fashion house clothed the Black Stars of Ghana during that year’s World Cup; Chocolate has also been featured in several media publications by Congo Airways, CNN, Vogue Magazine and BBC.

He attended the University of Ghana  , graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Archaeology and Information Studies.
