Kinlong Project-Cambodia's National Stadium
The Cambodian National Stadium Project is an important project for the countries along China’s “One Belt, One Road” route,which is the largest and highest grade stadium built with foreign aid by the Chinese government so far.
The design scheme of the stadium was personally selected by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. The overall shape resembles a sailing boat, magnificent and graceful, which symbolizes Sino-Cambodian friendship. The iconic hyperboloid herringbone concrete crane tower will be 99 meters high when completed, resembling the mast of a sailing ship, and its image is also integrated into the Cambodian culture of "namaste". The project can accommodate 60,000 spectators and has a construction area of approximately 82,000 square meters. It will become the main venue for the 2023 Southeast Asian Games and will also serve as Phnom Penh Citizens' Fitness and Sports Center.
Since the beginning of the project design in 2015, Kinlong has been actively involved in the construction of the whole chain of projects such as architectural plan selection, structural parameter design, tension construction simulation analysis, and node deepening design. The application of Kinex galfan tension cables, Kinex cast steel joints, Kinlong stainless steel cables and curtain wall accessories shows the integration advantages of Kinong technology and products.
The "herringbone"-shaped pylon pulls 18 stay cables at one end and connects 8 back cables at the other end like two aerial "harps". The cable truss canopy is gently lifted, and a building hymn is played in the long-span tension. In this project, the cable and supporting nodes are all made of Kinex Galfan cable and cast steel nodes. Among them, ф90, ф100, ф110mm cables are loop cables, and ф30, ф36, ф40, ф50, ф60, ф70, ф90, ф100, ф110, ф120mm cables are notochords.
