THE POWER OF GOOD TRAINING

Yesterday I was buying some grocery from a store near my house. Some children were playing in the street. One of them, who was around 10 years old, was sipping juice. After finishing it he threw the carton carelessly on the road and started chatting with his friends. I, looking all this, could not resist speaking. “Hey, just come here”, I said. He looked at me with inquiring eyes as if asking ‘are you talking to me’??? “Yes you. Just come here”, I repeated. I was waiting for a positive response. He came to me a little confused. “Look here, it is a dustbin kept here. Why don’t you use it instead of making the roads dirty”? I spoke whatever I wanted to say but didn’t know it would be useful or not. The boy waited for a moment, looked at me then with a smile picked up the carton from the road and threw it in the dustbin. It looks a very small incident...but for me it was really important as it strengthened my faith in THE POWER OF GOOD TRAINING. We always blame our children that they don’t want to learn good things, they lack moral values, they don’t listen to elders etc. But we forget that we hardly take the time out to give them proper training or to teach them moral values. So first of all let’s try our best before blaming children for everything…Let’s train the kids as much as possible so that they learn something good and give it back to society.

Loved what you did, I would have done the same, I have tried educating kids from school buses, throwing empty chip packets on the road, educated men throwing empty cigarette packets on the road, it's very disgusting and many such situations!

Exactly Richa Bhardwaj... Before blaming or criticizing the young generation it is very important to spend time with them, do with them all that we want them to learn and guide them. :)
