Job Title: JAVA ENGINEER

Location: Remote

Duration: 12-24 month Contract

Job Description

• Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting software applications.
• Responsible for software documentation and compliance with coding standards.
• Participates in the testing process through unit testing, integration testing, and QA of software
• Responsible for planning and managing tasks across multiple projects with little direction
• May lead and direct the work of projects and/or others.
• Some travel is expected, roughly 10% to 15%.
• Expected to participate in process improvement

• Proficiency with Java and the JDK Framework
• Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency with troubleshooting/debugging software applications
• Experience with the following technologies:

• MVC and MVVM architectural patterns
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL
• Microsoft SQL Server

• Familiarity with the following development tools:

• Source Control and Bug Tracking
• Microsoft SQL Management Studio
• Oracle SQL Developer
