EVONA INSIGHTS

The Texas Space Commission awarded $47.7 million in grants to five companies, including SpaceX, Blue Origin, Firefly Aerospace, Intuitive Machines, and Starlab Space. These grants aim to enhance infrastructure and accelerate advancements in spacecraft development and space station ecosystems and are part of a broader strategy to bolster the state's position in the aerospace sector, fostering innovation and job creation.

This indicates that the space sector will continue to attract substantial investments throughout 2025. Factors such as technological advancements, increased government space budgets, and a favourable regulatory environment are expected to drive this growth. The escalating U.S.-China rivalry in space capabilities is also projected to boost funding for space startups, particularly those focusing on satellite production and launch services.
