Identify Code to Remediate Using Meta Data

Identify Code to Remediate Using Meta Data

The Oracle Utilities Application Framework is driven by meta data to manipulate its behavior. Extensions, including the technology they are written in, are defined in the meta data to inform the Oracle Utilities Application Framework of where and when to use the extension.

The meta data for these extensions can be used to identify ones that need remediation prior to migrating to the cloud or can be remediated to take advantage of new capabilities to reduce your costs. Using SQL it is easier to help identify these extensions.

The Preparing for the Cloud whitepaper which is part of the Software Configuration Management Series (Doc Id: 560401.1) available from My Oracle Support has been updated with a series of SQL statements that can be used to help identify code to remediate.
