I No Longer Support The Police
It has been a long time coming. I have spent years supporting the police, for only a fool does not want a professional police force ensuring the safety of everyday people. Sir Robert Peel created the first force two hundred years ago to prevent crime on the streets of London. I wonder what he would think today.
I lost respect for the police many years ago. This probably started with the fly-on-the-wall TV shows that highlighted to me their incompetence, disrespect, and use of propaganda. We saw the lack of professionalism with officers full of tattoos and overweight, plus the many female police officers who are not capable of detaining criminals who do not wish to be detained. I do not blame these officers, they applied for a job and got it. It is the senior management that has damaged the professionalism and reputation of this once-great institution. Like all public institutions in this country, they are no longer fit for purpose.
Unlike most people who criticise the police, I have decades of experience in policing. I was based in police stations for many years where I worked as a crime manager for a council. I trained officers in community engagement, devised police projects and won awards for this work. In a previous role, I spent many evenings on patrol with police officers to stop young people from making poor choices.
I was fully onboard with the idealism of ‘protect & serve’. We were the good guys against the bad guys ruining the quality of life of residents. But things change over time, and several decades later, all I see now is incompetence and authoritarianism.
Incompetence everywhere. A week does not go by without a police officer in court for rape, sexual assault, paedophilia, or organised crime. Why do the police not have a better recruitment process? It cannot be that difficult not to recruit perverts and criminals. Reducing recruitment standards to enable women and ethnic minorities to join – also allowed anyone to join. Box-ticking recruitment delivers failure.
Authoritarian iron fist. The police seem to think that their job is to predict crime and then act as if this crime has been committed. A few months ago, the police stopped hundreds of young people from disembarking trains in Manchester city centre and forced them to leave. Why? Online discussions stated that they were coming to cause problems. What did the young people say? They were coming to meet friends and do some Christmas shopping. I have no idea if these kids would have committed crimes, but we should only lose our rights when we have broken the law – not before. All these kids were white - it never would have happened if they were black, Muslim or disabled. Your rights now depend on who you are. Two Tier Policing.
A few weekends ago, a man in Manchester city centre decided to burn his personal copy of the Quran in protest of the murder of a Swedish man by Islamists. Dozens of police officers turned up and arrested him. Racially aggravated hate crime. But it gets worse - they released his name, date of birth, and location. Surely, they must understand that he is now a target for Islamist nut-jobs? Or was this a clear warning to others to not repeat such a protest or assassination awaits?
This weekend, an online friend was arrested and detained overnight for his YouTube channel – Silver Fox Hot Takes. We have recorded a handful of videos together discussing politics and current affairs. He is a right-of-centre, common-sense, knowledgeable political commentator - but it seems he is a problem for the establishment.
The police arrived at his door on Friday evening and arrested him for what he had openly said online. They kept him overnight in the cells as an additional punishment. When he got home on Saturday morning he did a video about this incident where he discussed the questions directed at him. They wanted to know why he used the word Hitler when describing a current German politician. They asked questions about his videos that covered migration. The interrogation took a sinister turn when they implied he wanted the Prime Minister to be murdered. This is crazy stuff and out of some dystopian novel. I now see the police as the enemy of the British people – they are not to be trusted.
The only positive I have about the police is that we are still slightly better off having them than not. But this may not be the case for much longer as they are falling fast. When the police lose the support of someone like me then they are spiralling out of control.

Let us end on what is really going on. The establishment has been running an experiment since WWII - the word 'experiment' is not quite right for experiments are not manipulated to deliver a specific result. We have been subjected to a social engineering project to create a country that our Masters feel would be more beneficial. It has not worked out.
The defunct country of Yugoslavia is an appropriate example to understand our direction of travel - a multicultural hellhole controlled by a socialist dictator. When ideologies are failing they turn to lies and tyranny. How else can the status quo continue? Poverty and State-sanctioned violence keep the people in line – for a while.
Many UK cities are multicultural hellholes and require a socialist dictator to control them – we call them Metro Mayors. Muslims and Jews never live in peace. Conservative religions will never accept homosexuality. Pakistanis and Indians will hate each other forever. Different peoples living alongside each other require an authoritarian fist to ensure peace. General Tito understood this in Yugoslavia and recent history shows us that he was spot on.
The truth is we are in big trouble and need big solutions from big leaders.

1moTotally agree Nick. We are heading towards more incidents of civil unrest, tit4tat attacks, murders and other crimes which will result eventually in civil war; it’s the nature of the beast called communism/fascism. We’re at the stage now with police forces where we not only have two tier policing, the worst of it is we have Muslim police officers acting as religious police from an Islamist nation. FTLOG we even have sharia courts operating in Britain and mosques openly discussing the overthrowing of British culture within a few generations. This must stop NOW!
