How User Experience Design Solves Increased Customers
User experience (UX) design is the process design teams use to create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. UX design involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.
Designing an experience includes not only making the software easy to use but also designing the other experiences related to the product, for example, the marketing campaign, the packaging and after-sales support. Most importantly, UX design is concerned with delivering solutions that address pain points and needs.
User Experience Design is scientifically defined as “A person's perceptions and responses that result from the use or anticipated use of a product, system or service.”
User experience design was incorporated in 1970-1980.
More than 5000 software companies in world are investing heavily on User Experience design based software products. A few of examples are - Amdocs, Oracle, Capgemini, Accenture, IBM,SAS, SAP , Qualcomm.
Problems – Companies were facing challenges without a proper use of User Experience design. A few of them challenges are - Longer development time, increased cost, slower time to market, negative feedback, loss of trust, confusing layouts with poor UX design, Gap between development and design understanding, and budget constraints.
