Fast forward to 2025, and the digital world is flooded with AI-generated everything, from blog posts, music, and ad copies to memes; you name it. The latest buzz is ChatGPT’s new image generator that lets users recreate visuals in the iconic Studio Ghibli style. The internet has since been flooded with beautiful, animated images that look straight out of a Ghibli film.
Some people are thrilled, others are quietly freaked out.
As a creative, I am both. On one hand, I can’t help but marvel at the magic of it all; this machine that spits out words, images, and ideas in an instant, sometimes even better than I could do myself. But the more I scroll through AI-generated art, music, and writing, the more I wonder: Is this the beginning of the end for creatives like me?

AI’s Fascinating Yet Disturbing Ability to Recreate ‘Art’
AI is mind-blowing.
Sometimes, I wonder how I managed to survive university without it. I mean, how was I able to write my final thesis without a digital assistant spitting out perfectly structured paragraphs in seconds? Now, you can generate entire articles with a single prompt, whip up stunning visuals, and even produce music that sounds eerily close to human-made compositions. And the wildest part is that we’re still just getting started.
The possibilities seem endless, and that’s both thrilling and, if I’m being honest, a little unnerving. While AI is great at handling the tedious, repetitive stuff, like fixing a clunky sentence or drafting an outline, it’s a different conversation when it starts producing art.
Words, visuals, music… These are the things that have always been deeply, undeniably human. To have a tool recreate this and do it faster, cheaper, and (in some cases) better than a human can is unsettling.

I’m talking over 1.15 billion impressions and a 38% higher engagement rate than previous campaigns.
A few months ago, I was talking with a copywriter friend, and she told me how some brands now rely on AI for first-draft ad copies. Nothing shocking there, but here’s the the crazy part: Some of them don’t even bother editing. They just copy, paste, and publish.
I get the appeal. It’s fast. It’s effortless. It’s cost-effective.

Something that AI will never truly replicate. I mean, it might come close, but there will always be something missing.
