🏠 Grateful for the Little Things 🏠
The past few weeks have been challenging, to say the least. After a fire left my husband and me without electricity, sewerage, and water at home, we found ourselves living in three different hotels over three weeks.
During this time, balancing a full-time job amidst the unpredictability of moving from one place to another truly, feeding our cats in a home that was getting colder and colder every time we entered, highlighted the importance of the constants we often take for granted. Having a stable and comfortable home environment is crucial for performing our best, both personally and professionally.
Thankfully, there was no structural damage to our house, and we're in the process of getting everything back to normal. This experience has reinforced my appreciation for resilience and flexibility.
I’m endlessly thankful for the support from friends, family, and colleagues during this period. Here’s to returning to routine and cherishing the comfort of home. 🏡
