Free Courses: Self-Management Techniques for people living with Chronic Pain
Chronic Pain Ireland is the national support group for people living with chronic pain conditions and has conducted workshops on Self-Management since 2004. This is an important part of our work as attendance can help participants achieve a better understanding, become more health literate, improving coping skills and finding ways to improve quality of life, despite their pain. It also provides continued motivation and maintenance of coping skills for those who have completed a hospital run Pain Management Programme.

9yCPI is the voice, support, mainstay and provider of free advice to those who suffer from chronic, persistent pain, in RoI. Because of travel difficulties for Pain sufferers, CPI run excellent courses in Self Management in pain, and at many centres countrywide. CPI are funded by minimally-charged membership, but mainly through sponsorship and grudgily-advanced Government Funding. Kudos to the Board who give of their time to the running of this excellent facility, and to advance the acknowledgement of chronic pain in a country where so little help is available, without cost, to those who need support and advice.
