Fight On

Fight On

After four and a half years at my alma mater University of Southern California , I've decided to retire and pass the the Troy spirit to those that are more capable and talented to guide these young minds.

I've recently confided with my close friends and said that I've spent more time teaching there at SC than I did when I was receiving a masters degree in mathematical engineering, 20 some odd years ago.

To that sentiment, I must say that I've learned a lot and gained a different perspective from 400-500 students I was fortunate to spend time with in the past 9 or 10 semesters.

Throughout my tenure at SC, I've raised money for these student led startups, brought in speakers which I thought that provided insights into engineering, product and entrepreneurship. I've always prioritized my students, my class before anything else in my life. Sometimes at the expensive of my family and businesses. I did it because I enjoyed it.

I will miss my students curiosity the most, these young people will be the corner students of America and the world and I am glad I was part of their journey in the past five years. There are tons of memories to treasure and I wish and hope to do it again sometimes in the future.

To the next generation of entrepreneurs and engineers, cheers!

Here are some highlights from the last event I was a part of on campus.
