I've learned something today:
- Microsoft Graph is an API that connects to data from Microsoft 365 apps like emails, chats, and documents. This helps Copilot generate smarter and more relevant responses. It can also bring in data from external sources, like a CRM, using Microsoft Graph connectors. For example, a sales team preparing for a client meeting can use Copilot to gather insights from Outlook, Teams, and Salesforce.
- "The Copilot Copyright Commitment extends Microsoft’s existing IP indemnification coverage to copyright claims relating to the use of our AI-powered Copilots, including the output they generate, specifically for paid versions of Microsoft commercial Copilot services and Bing Chat Enterprise. This includes Microsoft 365 Copilot that brings generative AI to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more – enabling a user to reason across their data or turn a document into a presentation. - SharePoint Advanced Management helps ensure Copilot accesses only accurate, up-to-date information while also controlling its access to content, as some information may not be intended for Copilot. It addresses three aspects of content governance: managing content sprawl, controlling content access, and handling the content lifecycle.
- The GCSE framework helps create effective AI prompts by focusing on four key aspects: Goal, Context, Source, and Expectations. It ensures AI responses are relevant, well-informed, and formatted correctly by clearly defining the task, background, required data, and output style.
- When a computer has an NPU, Microsoft Paint's Cocreator can generate impressive artwork using AI. Users can draw on the canvas and enter a text prompt to guide the AI. The NPU processes the image generation locally, ensuring smooth artistic enhancements.
