Episode 1: Inside the Life of an Impulsive Thinker – Welcome to My Chaos

You know how some friendships just happen? Like, one day you're strangers, and the next, you have an unspoken contract to be in each other’s lives forever? That’s Tina and me. Honestly, I don’t even remember how we became friends, but what I do remember is this, when I was pregnant with my son almost seven years ago, she made sure my cravings were met. And let me tell you, when you're in campus and your only craving is samosas with freshly blended juice, and a stranger decides to meet them every single day, that’s not just friendship—that’s commitment.

Over the years, Tina became my go-to person. The one I’d call with my wildest ideas, the silly things I’ve done, and the reckless decisions I’d make with absolutely zero remorse. She listens, doesn’t judge (too much), and occasionally reminds me that I’m just one impulsive move away from absolute disaster.

Do You Even Think Before You Act?

At some point, while I was deep in the trenches of job hunting, networking, and experiencing the real meaning of "tarmacking" for income, Tina hit me with the ultimate reality check:

"Do you even think before making certain decisions?"

Of course, my response was, "Whatever happens after I make a decision, I’ll deal with it." Logical, right?

It took me a while to realize that, deep down, I do take time before acting let’s say I like to test the waters, see if it burns, maybe even dip a toe before taking the plunge. But when I finally make my first decision? That’s it. That’s the hill I’ll die on. And if there are consequences? Kesi baadaye—we move.

Jump First, Build the Parachute Later—Welcome to My World

This blog is exactly that—jumping first and figuring things out mid-air. It’s my safe space to share how impulsive decisions have shaped my life, for better or worse. It’s raw, it’s real, and if you’ve ever made a split-second decision that changed your entire trajectory, then you, my friend, belong here.

I'll be unpacking stories, some hilarious, some chaotic, and others that might just make you rethink that "YOLO" mindset. The goal? To show you how every decision, no matter how impulsive, leads somewhere. Sometimes it’s a win, sometimes it’s a lesson, but it’s always a story worth telling.

So, are you ready? Because Episode 2 is where things really take off—literally. I quit my job with no backup plan. What happened next? Let’s just say, dangerous living became my full-time job.

If you can relate to making bold, impulsive moves, let me know in the comments.

By the way, Happy Birthday Tina.
