The Embassy of Lithuania enhances transatlantic partnerships in defense industry and innovation

Lithuanian Embassy in Washington D.C. together with The Outpost, Outpost Ventures, and ScaleWolf are working closely to support and enhance transatlantic cooperation in the defense industry and defense innovation. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing security efforts, fostering innovation, promoting long-term safety, and strengthening regional Baltic and transatlantic security. 

“Lithuanian defense and dual-use industries possess significant potential, offering innovative solutions that can contribute not only to Lithuania’s security but also to that of the United States,” said Audra Plepytė, Ambassador of Lithuania to the United States. “We aim to promote Lithuanian technologies in the U.S. market, fostering collaboration that will benefit both nations by strengthening our shared security and enhancing innovation across borders,” she noted.

The partnership will foster transatlantic collaboration by supporting Lithuanian and U.S. startups in accessing new markets and investment opportunities, connecting them with investors, partners, and key stakeholders. It will also promote knowledge exchange through joint events, seminars, and workshops while engaging startups in mentorship, networking, and international programs to strengthen their presence in the global innovation ecosystem. Additionally, the partners will explore investment strategies to position high-potential startups from both countries for sustained growth.

The partners are also looking to launch an online platform for Lithuanian and U.S. stakeholders, investors, and startups to connect, share knowledge, and explore business opportunities.
