ECOTECH INTERNS - DECEMBER 2019

ECOTECH INTERNS - DECEMBER 2019

Several times in my last 40 years of career as an Environmental Engineer, I have been thinking I might have missed my true calling in life.

Inspired by my Chemical Engg. Professor in IIT Madras - Dr. P.S Virk, I should have been a Teacher, a Professor, an Academician. Not all is lost. I am making up for it by taking on interns in Summer and Winter to fulfill not only my passion, but also to shape young minds and instill in them a spirit of enquiry, to question, to apply their mind, use common sense and become better Env. Engineers and better citizens of our Country.

This December we have four interns from Anna University - Guindy Campus and one from Dayanada Sagar College in Bangalore. From Left :

Jagadeeswaran M , Arunmuthu, ASK, Sivaranjani, Subi Sundar and Jannathul Aabitha

All except Sivaranjani are from Guindy between the third and fourth semesters of their M.Tech ( Env. Engg.) course. Sivaranjani is a B.Tech Chemical Engg. Graduate planning to pursue her higher studies in Europe in the Fall of 2020.

We wish these passionate young Env. Engineers all the best in their future careers.
