To address this disparity, the United States Minority Contractors Association (USMCA) established its STEM program to inspire and support students in pursuing STEM-related careers.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, the STEM Foundation is committed to advancing access to STEM education in underserved communities.

These scholarships support students like Adenike Cotton, who received a STEM Foundation scholarship for three years. She graduated from Howard University with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in human development. She plans to continue her education and obtain a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
