Do you use Feeds in your digital marketing?
Marketing snack December 6, 2021 (Monday)
Is it still necessary to provide an RSS or Atom Feed in these days?
(A person's hand is using a tablet computer in front of their active laptop display.)
Feeds are an extremely popular way for organisations and companies to deliver their messages to interested parties. They are usually delivered in the form of an XML language that uses RSS or Atom formatting.
Literally, you're feeding your prospects, clients and customers with valuable information, knowledge and insights into the problem that you're able and willing to solve for them.
With a simple click of a colourful button, users can automatically stay connected to a website's interesting content (blogs, news sites, podcasts as well as video channels and more) as soon as their browser is connected to the internet. So this smart button quickly connects you to the feed of the blog or other exciting offering you want without logging in or registering.

Are there also other sorts of Feeds?
YES, of course there are. As a LinkedIn user, you also have your feed, that is indivualised after your most intersting topics and sources. You'll find it here:

Like with LinkedIn, you also have these feeds in other social media channels and platforms where the people and brands you are following show their new ideas, concepts, services as well as their physical products.
What do you think about Atom and RSS Feeds?

Quote of the day:
Recommended by LinkedIn
“Well, it seems to me that the best relationships - the ones that last - are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is... suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with.”
Gillian Anderson (actor)
