Some indicator Lights on the dashboard of Liugong wheel loader are on, Do not know what it means? Today we will explain for you one by one

First part: Instrument/Dashboard (the central control panel)

Fuel oil level gauge

The instrument indicates the fuel level of the fuel tank. When the instrument indicates the middle of the green area, it indicates the medium oil level. When the instrument indicates the right side of the green area, it indicates high oil level. When the instrument indicates the red area, it indicates low oil level.

The left-turn instruction

When the wheel loader turns to left,the left turn indicator flashes and the front and rear left- turn lamp are flashing at the same time.

Water temperature gauge

The instrument indicates the engine cooling water temperature.The yellow area indicates that the water temperature is low,the green area indicates that the water temperature is in the normal operating temperature range,and the red area indicates that the water temperature is too high.

Warning

When the engine water temperature instrument pointed to the red area, please park the machine in a safe and easy to make maintenance area, check the engine cooling fan, fan belt and coolant radiator fluid level, then continue driving or work after the failures are removed.

Warning

When Checking the engine cooling fan,fan belt and the water level of the water tank, please do high temperature protection work to avoid high temperature burns, avoid the moving parts to avoid being pinched!

Torque converter oil temperature gauge

Torque converter oil temperature gauge indicates torque converter operating temperature. The yellow area is a low temperature, the green area is the normal temperature, and the red area mean the temperature is too high.

Warning

When the indicator of torque converter oil temperature gauge flashes, please park the car in a safe and easy to make maintenance area, check the gearbox and gearbox oil level. Do not continue to work or drive before troubleshooting.

Speedometer

The value of the instrument is the actual speed value of the wheel loader. The outermost scale indicates the metric unit value, and the innermost indication is the imperial unit value. The instrument have the backlight function, when you can not see this instrument under bright light, you can turn on the small light switch to start the backlight function.

Part two: LCD Display

Gear display

Speed display

The field "Volts" lights up and the system voltage is displayed on the LCD screen, such as 24V.

Engine RPM Display

System voltage display

The field "Volts" lights up and the system voltage is displayed on the LCD screen, such as 24V.

Engine fault code disply 

When the engine is running,once the fault occurs, the field "SERV.CODE" is immediately light up and the engine fault code is displayed on the LCD screen.

Voltage indicator

Voltage indicator show the power supply voltage condition of the wheel loader, the normal power supply voltage range is 24V ~ 28V. When the voltage is lower than 24V or higher than 30V, the voltage alarm indicator flashes to give an alarm.

Emergency brake pressure warning light 

When parking the wheel loader, the red parking brake light is on, indicating that the parking brake is active.

Driving brake low pressure warning light

When the red driving brake low pressure alarm light is on, indicating that the driving brake oil pressure is low. The driver should immediately stop to identify the cause of the malfunction.

Main Fault alarm indicator

When one of parking brake, driving brake, oil pressure, gearbox oil pressure, engine air filter blockage, centralized lubrication failure, hydraulic oil temperature, hydraulic oil, gearbox fault indicator light is one, the red main fault Alarm light flashing to give an alarm, flashing frequency is 1.0-1.2Hz.

Oil pressure alarm indicator

When the engine oil pressure is too low, the red oil pressure alarm indicator is light up, meanwhile the buzzer alarm. The driver should immediately stop to identify the cause of the malfunction.

Engine air filter blockage warning light

When the engine air filter was blocked by the dust to a certain extent, the engine air filter blockage alarm light is on, the driver should clean and do maintenance for air filter at once.

Charging indicator

When the generator is charging the battery, the red charging indicator light goes out. The charging indicator light is on when the battery is supply power for wheel loader electric equipment separately.

Centralized lubrication fault indicator

When the red light flashes, it indicates that the automatic lubrication system is malfunction.

Transmission oil pressure warning lights

When the gearbox oil pressure is too low, the red transmission oil pressure warning light flashes. The driver should immediately stop to identify the cause of the malfunction.

Warning

When the transmission oil pressure warning light flashed, please park the car in a safe and easy to make maintenance area, check the gearbox and gearbox oil level. Do not continue to work or drive before troubleshooting.

Gearbox failure alarm light

When a fault detected by the gearbox controller, the red gearbox failure alarm light will flashes.

Hydraulic oil contamination warning light

When the red indicator light is on, it indicates that the oil tank return filter is seriously polluted and the oil return filter needs to be replaced.

Warning

In the case starting the engine under low ambient temperature, hydraulic oil contamination warning light will flash for a short time, after a period of time the light will goes out when the temperature is up.

Steering system fault indicator

Parking alarm indicator

The red parking alarm indicator provides emergency operation information. If the indicator light is on, immediately stop the operation, turn off the engine, identify the cause of the malfunction. If not stop the wheel loader in time, the system may automatically stop the engine based on the severity of the fault. The parking alarm indicator is also used to flash diagnostic fault code. For troubleshooting methods, pls refer to "Engine Troubleshooting".

Warning

If the parking alarm indicator light flashes during work, please contact your service agent in time, and provide the fault code to your service agent, so the technical service personnel can do technical analysis.

Warning light

The yellow warning light has two functions. One is to provide routine maintenance information, when the warning light flashes 0.5 seconds each time, and continue to flash for 30 seconds, it means need to carry out routine maintenance for the engine, maintenance methods pls refer to instruction list on the Cummins Diesel User Manual.

The yellow warning indicator light also has a fault alarm function to provide sub-emergency operation information. If the indicator light is on during operation and driving, it indicates that the engine system is faulty, but it is not too serious to stop driving or operating, you can wait until go to service center to make troubleshooting. The fault code will be displayed on the packing alarm indicator.

Maintenance indicator light

When exceed the rated oil change interval time, the start switch is at the ON position and the maintenance indicator flashes to indicate that the engine oil should be replaced and maintained.

Start waiting indicator light

When the engine system detects that the ambient temperature is below than -18 degree, the wheel loader automatically turns on the cold start assist device, and the white start waiting indicator lights up. This lamp will be off when the temperature has reached the intended requirement to start the engine.

Fuel tank excessive water indicator

When the water level in the fuel tank reaches the WIF sensor at the bottom of the fuel filter, the WIF lamp is light up, indicating that the water in the fuel tank needs to be discharged, after the water is discharged or the fuel oil covers the WIF sensor completely, the WIF lamp will automatically extinguished.

Warning

The above indicator is a special indicator for the EFI engine. If the start switch is turned to the "I" position and the fault diagnosis switch remains open, these indicators will light for about 2 seconds and then turn off to confirm that the engine is working properly. When any of the indicators light is flashed, it is strictly prohibited to start the engine.

Heater running indicator (optional)

When the yellow heater running indicator is on, it indicates that the heater is in operation.

Emergency steering operation indicator

When the emergency steering button is in the "ON" position, or when the diesel engine is accidentally flameout, the emergency steering motor of steering system is activated and the yellow emergency steering indicator light is on.

Power off indicator light 

When the yellow power off indicator light is up, it indicates that the machine is currently in the power off condition (brake off function); power off indicator light off means the machine is currently in the power on condition.

Fan reverse run indicator

When the yellow indicator light is on, the radiator fan is reverse running.

Head lamp high beam indicator light

When the blue head lamp high beam indicator light is on, mean the head lamp is at high beam status

Centralized lubrication running indicator

When the green indicator light is on, it indicates that the centralized lubrication system is working.

Boom lift angle setting indicator

Boom damping operation indicator

When the green indicator light is on, it indicates that the boom damping function is running.
