Despite unbundling from M365, Teams continue to shine
Microsoft Teams premium reached 3 million seats, a 400% YoY from 10,000 seats in October 2023. Copilot has also shown positive growth with a 60% QoQ increase in customers.
Microsoft faces two global outages in two weeks
In less than 2 weeks since the CrowdStrike incident, a global outage affected Microsoft products again. These incidents always underscore the need for business reliability and productivity.
Zoom 's delayed workspace debut: Too little, too late?
Zoom has announced the rollout of the first product under Zoom Workplace (Zoom Docs), an AI-based collaborative document solution, powered by Zoom AI companion. As Zoom takes up the fight against Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace, it is betting on complimentary Gen AI capabilities through Zoom AI Companion for success.
Zoom strengthens its hold on the webinar market
Zoom has now announced a new feature around single-user webinar options to accommodate large event sizes with a limit of 1 million attendees.
Zoom continues to build differentiation in an area (along with Cisco Webex) where Microsoft Teams underdelivers.
Cisco unifies product teams under new leadership to boost innovation and drive growth
Cisco announced the integration of its networking, security, and collaboration teams into a single organization, with Jeetu Patel (previously EVP and GM of the Security and Collaboration units) assuming an expanded role as Chief Product Officer to lead this group.
Google plays catchup with Microsoft on workplace security partnership
Google Workspace announced its integration with Sophos Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Sophos Extended Detection and Response (XDR).
Before Google, Microsoft also announced a similar partnership with Sophos, highlighting the critical importance of cybersecurity in today's workspaces.
Jamf partners with Microsoft to provide seamless Apple device mgmt in Microsoft-heavy environments
Jamf has signed a five-year contract with Microsoft. As part of the partnership, Jamf offerings will be hosted on Microsoft Azure and can be purchased on Azure Marketplace. With this partnership, enterprises that are largely Microsoft-based and looking for a robust Apple device management platform will benefit.

Infosys leverages ServiceNow 's AI capabilities to power its service management capabilities (ESM cafe)
Infosys aims to accelerate ServiceNow implementation for enterprises like First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) by leveraging the AI capabilities of the Now Platform together with its ESM Cafe offering.
In March 2024, HCLTech announced a similar partnership with ServiceNow focused on AI collaboration. This reflects ServiceNow’s strong market positioning around AI in IT service management.
Kyndryl has partnered with Nerdio, a specialist technology vendor that provides customized solutions across Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune. Service providers continue to search for specialist partners beyond prominent vendors such as VMware and Citrix to bring partnership differentiation to deals.

Kyndryl collaborates with the Mexican Ministry of Economy
Kyndryl has launched a new Digital Education Program (free of cost) in Mexico City with the Mexican Ministry of Economy. In today's era when companies are driven by profitability, Kyndryl's gesture is much appreciated.
The deal highlights Kyndryl's commitment to ESR. Additionally, it also acts as a credible proof point to unlock future opportunities in the region.
Capgemini signs a new contract with the UK’s Defense Science and Technology Laboratory
Capgemini has announced a new three-year agreement with the UK’s Defense Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL), an executive agency of the Ministry of Defense (MoD). The deal encompasses end-user experience, service delivery, and responsiveness.
This is the second publicly announced public sector deal win in FY24 by Capgemini, post-contract with Norwegian Public Roads Administration in April 2024. As Atos continues to face company-specific headwinds, Capgemini has been the biggest beneficiary of this development and has emerged as the provider of choice for companies preferring a European heritage provider.
