CHAOS vs RANDOMNESS

CHAOS vs RANDOMNESS

CHAOS vs RANDOMNESS

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE

“CHAOS THEORY” states what appears as Chaos is not really Chaotic. It is a series of differentiated orders for which the human mind has not yet become familiar. -Frederick Lenz

The Butterfly Effect: A phenomenon whereby a significantly small change in any system has large effects elsewhere. Second and Third Order Effects.

Chaos: Complete disorder and confusion.

Random: The lack of a pattern or principle. Unpredictability.

Approximate: The state of being close or near.

Chaos Theory:  Chaos theory states within the apparent randomness of chaotic complex systems, there are underlying patterns, interconnections, fractals, and self-organization

Game Theory: Interactive decision-making, where the outcome for each participant depends on the actions of all.

Chaos & Randomness are different, they are not the same.

John Nash, PHD, Princeton New Jersey, was a mathematician, awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences. John Nash is the father of modern economics and commerce for his work on the mathematics of Game Theory. His landmark work is now the basis for economics and commerce worldwide.

Chaos Theory states within the apparent randomness of complex systems (chaos), there are underlying patterns. One tiny change within the system (initial conditions) can dramatically change the outcome in an unpredictable way (The Butterfly Effect). Each current condition is potentially affected by other approximate current and future conditions, each of which has significantly different future paths or trajectories. Further, each current condition is highly sensitive to the actions of other people who in probability may or will alter the current or future conditions (Game Theory). The future is unpredictable.

While the future is “generally” unpredictable, it is not random. Chaos Theory, Game Theory, and The Butterfly Effect collectively confirm that almost all chaotic phenomena can vary only within limits. Now that you have a clearer understanding: Within the seemingly randomness of chaos, patterns exist, creating ranges of Outcomes. Although, there are boundaries established by nature. Nature’s interdependent chains of cause and effect are too complex to disentangle, creating unpredictability. Due to our three dimensional existence, the inability to know which are outside the Three Dimensional Universe is Unknowable and the resulting unknowingness creates unpredictability which is confused as randomness.

Reminder  : True Randomness Has No Order and does Not Follow Any Pattern.

Remember: Please be patient for just a moment;  Within Chaos there exists pattern and order. Chaos, the determinate, manifests many outcomes or individual futures, thus pattern and order. Chaos is an oftentimes overlooked means to an end.

Free Will, Hope, Good Intent, Bad Intent, Action, Inaction, Energy, and Belief are the forces that Shape Chaos.

“Nothing in Nature is random. A thing appears random only through the incompleteness of our knowledge.”- Baruch Spinoza
