Cerner's Big Confluence Migration - Atlassian Summit 2016 Talk

I had the privilege to speak this year at Atlassian Summit 2016 in San Jose, CA with my associate Kate Lomax. The session talk allowed us to share our success story of a massive no downtime Atlassian Confluence upgrade from planning through implementation. The unique theme of "Sharks vs Bears" and parallels to the challenges of early/late adopters is weaved throughout the talk. It covers topics including agile planning, dev-ops automation, software architecture, communication plans, managing change etc. that made this major change event for our 100K+ internal and external users feel relatively seamless. We also share the challenges along the way as adoption of change is hard for some. Checkout the recording of the session talk and look forward to feedback or questions.
