Spotlight on our Interns

Today, we are proud to highlight three interns who have made a significant impact during their time with us:

Lise: Hello, I’m Lise, a Legal Intern at Avertim. My role involves assisting the finance team with a range of tasks, from drafting and review contracts to conducting legal research. This internship has given me a unique insight into the practical aspects of business law and the chance to contribute to significant projects. Beyond my legal responsibilities, I’ve also been actively involved in projects focused on workplace prevention, well-being, and sustainability. These experiences have provided a holistic view of how legal and compliance efforts intersect with broader organizational goals. The supportive environment at Avertim has been instrumental in my professional growth.

Why Lise Chose Avertim: I chose Avertim not only for its excellent reputation but also for the significant responsibilities it offers. The opportunity to work closely with top management and engage in a variety of missions was particularly appealing. Additionally, the role allows me to see how legal work directly supports and drives business objectives. Lise's Advice: My advice to future interns is to embrace every opportunity to learn and to not be afraid to ask questions. The team at Avertim is incredibly supportive, and there is always someone willing to help you grow and succeed. Take advantage of the diverse experiences available to you, as they will enrich your professional journey.

Margaux: I joined Avertim France in July for a 6-month internship as part of my gap year at emlyon business school. I love doing sport and I’ve been delighted to be involved in a team of sport enthusiasts! What is interesting about my internship is that I have the opportunity to work with a manager on a mission, and I also have internal tasks such as doing benchmarks and studies on different subjects related to the financial sector.

Why Margaux Chose Avertim: I chose Avertim because I wanted to do consulting and the small team in France is the perfect place to learn. What I also liked is that Avertim is a European group, and it is also great to be able to work with the other teams in Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany. 

Margaux's Advice: Dare to think out of the box and try new things. That is what I did by choosing Avertim and I realized I want to keep working in financial services. 

Leonard: I'm Leonard, currently working as a Business Management Intern. My role involves supporting business growth through research, strategic planning, and contributing innovative ideas. I’ve had the opportunity to work on automating processes, enhancing efficiency, and developing strategies that make a real impact. This internship has been an incredible learning experience, allowing me to collaborate with talented professionals and gain insights into the world of business management.

Why Leonard Chose Avertim: I chose Avertim because it offered the perfect blend of learning and hands-on experience. I wanted to be part of a team where I could apply my skills while being mentored by experts in the field. The collaborative culture and the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that impact the company’s growth made Avertim stand out as an exciting place to start my professional journey.

Leonard's Advice: To future interns: make the most of your time by being proactive and open to learning from every challenge. The key to thriving at Avertim is leveraging the supportive environment to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of innovation.
