Call for Proposals for Learning Engineering conference

ICICLE Conference Call for Proposals Extended to March 15th

Learning Engineering is a process and practice that applies the learning sciences using human-centered design and engineering methodologies and data-informed decision making to support learners and their development.

Deadline for the call for proposals for ICICLE 2024 Learning Engineering Conference has been extended to March 15th!  The ICICLE 2024 theme focuses on "Solving Complexity at Scale," acknowledging the implicit challenges of learning, from individual tutoring to massive open online courses and everything in between. The conference is being organized in conjunction with ASU Learning Engineering Institute July 22nd-24th, 2024 in Tempe, Arizona, USA. The conference has six types of sessions. Give a lightening talk, design a learning activity, share a case study, showcase your work or organize a panel at the conference. We will have breakout rooms this year and encourage everyone to submit a proposal.  Dates:

  • Deadline for Proposal submission: March 15, 2024 11:59pm EST
  • Notification of Acceptance: April 15, 2024
  • Conference workbook materials submitted: May 31, 2024
  • Presentation materials submitted: July 1, 2024

See the attached flyer for information and the schedule for the 2023 Conference for ideas of the type of sessions we are looking for.
