Brand Partnerships - helpful tips
• Brand Affinity – work with non competing like minded brands. It’s important that both brands are seen to be a logical fit by the target audience.
• Objectives – clearly map out what you want to achieve from a partnership. Stick to short term targets with a view to a long term alliance.
• Negotiate – be prepared to ‘give and take’…..it’s not like buying space or time, partnerships move but if you select the right one then small problems won’t become big problems.
• Manage – allow resource to manage both the launch and duration of activity. Don’t assume a partner brand will do all the running.
• Results – measure results to see if you will continue or move on. With average ROI at 5:1 you can see why the initial selection is all important.
