Below are some time saving tips to run your day as smoothly as possible

It is true that our society is frenetic. This was made more apparent when we were all stopped from being busy, when the pandemic created probably the biggest sudden change that we will ever see.

Going from being people who rarely notice what’s going on around us because we are so busy, don’t have time to see life in nature, robotically move around (especially in cities) in our own worlds moving from place to place, meeting to meeting, attempting to be on time but missing so much en route, to dramatically being stopped in our tracks from it all. Without choice given time to think, see, be still, take notice and slow down.

Before the pandemic it is so true however that many were busy doing the wrong things and now as an element of ‘normality returns’ some are likely to continue to do the same, wondering why they aren’t progressing, hitting targets and seeing a change in their worlds. I challenge you today to look at ’the follow through’ in all that you do. Are the things you are doing conducive to your desired results and if they are, are you following through and ending each job or task ? I know that I used to be belligerent often by doing half a job and wondering why the results weren’t as I had wanted. We have to take responsibility for our worlds, for our actions but more importantly for our attitudes. Positive attitudes creates high altitudes and how we begin our day, go through our day and end our day is paramount to our future, our results.

Here are some time saving tips:

·       Automate as many tasks as possible. ...

Be ruthless with your to-do list. ...

·       Take breaks to keep your energy levels up. ...

·       Don't attend meetings for the sake of them. ...

·       Designate 'flow' time and 'collaboration' time

·       Learn your dynamic and don’t do the things that will mean pushing water up hill or treading through treacle.

Well said Gillie, I've been a victim of that in the past. Something for me to think on and practice.
