Albo’s ‘Blight on the Hill’ is blinding the Main Stream Media

Jacinta Nampijinpa Price says she wants to ‘make Australia great again’. The reaction? ‘They finally said the quiet bit out loud.’
Peter Dutton’s son has to save to buy a house and he’s struggling to do so. Dutton is a millionaire, so he is either lying or cruel.
The mainstream media (MSM) is so bored that they are looking for anything to pick up on except the reality of our economic situation. Albanese is leading us to his ‘blight on the hill’. It’s not a beacon of social justice; it’s a place where the Greens finally leverage Labor to use the rest of other people’s money to implement their socialist ideas.
Make no mistake, we are deep in it. If the Coalition do not get over the line on May 3, then we only have ourselves to blame.
I am convinced that the left’s groupthink enables them to flat-out lie about our economic situation, and they all believe it. How can anyone think Albanese’s leadership is worth a pinch of the proverbial?
Nobody except those who received exorbitant government-mandated pay rises are better off. Nobody.
The Coalition haven’t helped us – instead of announcing good, timely policy to address everything that matters to conservatives, they’ve tried to play double-speak. They’re no good at it and they ought to avoid trying. It reminds me of one of Mark Twain’s classic quotes:
‘Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.’
The Coalition has to fight not only the minor conservative parties, but Labor’s own version of Neighbourhood Watch, which reports on every issue that can make the Coalition look bad. This is not unusual; it is a tactic the Democrats in the US and Labour in the UK rely upon. The MSM then pick it up and run with it.
When Labor Member for Eden-Monaro and Minister for Regional Australia, Kristy McBain allegedly attributed an election endorsement to former Goulburn Mayor, Bob Kirk (who publicly stated that he gave no such endorsement), she put in a complaint.
If it had been the Coalition, the MSM would have been beside themselves, throwing muck at the minister while lefty loonies would have been all over social media, pointing out the minister’s lack of integrity and calling for their sacking.
Before the 2022 election, McBain made noises about how we ‘need a Commonwealth Integrity Commission with teeth’. Let’s hope the AEC have their falsies in when they consider this incident.
Admittedly, the Coalition have drifted to the left and are bleeding their supporters like mad. Why Jacinta Price has been hidden away makes no sense. Given the Greens have not moved in terms of primary vote polling, and Labor have only improved by one per cent, and with the rainbow coloured and lollipop-flavoured Teals’ wheels finally starting to fall off, it’s clear the Coalition are losing their base.
The outcome of a boring election campaign should now be obvious. Playing ‘small target’ is for losers. Labor can get away with it because they hardly ever achieve a majority of primary votes. The Coalition has no such luxury.
But make no mistake, Albo is leading us to his ‘blight on the hill’. Ben Chifley tried to take us to a bridge too far with bank nationalisation and other ideas based on ‘democratic socialism’ – a term that still exists in the Labor Party’s constitution.
However, Chifley lost and Menzies’ Coalition achieved 50.2 per cent of the primary vote and formed government with a 27-seat majority. Now, it’s shaping up that we will be led to the blight on the hill by none other than Prime-Alt Minister in waiting, Adam Bandt.
Jack Lang would be impressed.

3dThe National Press Club today debate between Labors Housing Minister & the Libs Michael Sukkar was far more interesting. Particularly when we learnt that the Libs super home mortgage deposit is capped at 40% of the members fund. At that rate, you would be close to 40 before you could access $50k for a home deposit. This is ridiculous. Members should be able to take at least 80% of their fund, plus ALL NEW home buyers should be able to access their super as a home deposit (to further boost home supply), not just 40 yr old first home buyers.
Cheap, reliable 24/7 baseload power please.
3dThe LNP might hopefully prove themselves to be the less terrible option and it is a great shame that a voter must use such rationale to pick who should run the country. The other reason I suppose we should give the LNP a go is that it would surely be impossible for them to do worse than the ALP has done over this last three years. Another terrible reason to base a voting decision on. Lastly, is there a chance that if the ALP win and end up sharing power with the Greens, over the next three years, could they actually do worse than what they have done over this last three years. In my opinion, this is probably the most compelling reason why the LNP need to win/must win. What a truly sad state our country is in with regards to politics and politicians. We deserve better than this.
