AI – assistant or killer?

AI – assistant or killer?

AI has become an active assistant in many areas. He is already replacing even programmers who have been at their peak recently. Naturally, not all of them. For today, so far, only beginners. But the speed with which AI penetrates into our lives is really outstanding. Can he go from the category of assistants to a real killer of a person? There is a possibility.

Foremost, this is due to those areas in which a person's life directly depends on the decisions taken. What are these areas? For example, driving a car. Today, there are already the first attempts to transfer control of the machines to the machine. The same Tesla is a company that today stands at the forefront in the field of AI implementation in vehicles. Other well-known automotive brands are hastily following the company, introducing such smart assistants. But what happens if he makes a mistake?

Today, AI in the field of cars is not perfect. There are already sad examples of making wrong decisions while driving. For example, rebuilding to a place where there is a concrete block in the way. As a result – an accident. Or a malfunction and rebuilding into a lane in which another car is already driving. The result is the same – an accident and possible death of a person.

The situation is similar in other areas. We can take medicine. AI is being actively introduced into this industry to process information and even make preliminary diagnoses. However, artificial intelligence can easily make a mistake. As a result, you can prescribe the wrong treatment, prescribe the wrong pills or the wrong dose – all this can worsen a person's health and lead to a fatal outcome.

So today, you should not completely trust AI with your life. This is an assistant, but so far only passive, which can lead to your death. Be careful.
