6 years in Citrix!

6 years in Citrix!

I'm a few days away from completing 6 years in Citrix and it feels like a perfect time to reflect on the journey so far. A picture is worth a thousand words so I used an infographic (cover) to depict the journey.

What was great

  • Exposure to wide variety of technology, initiatives, offerings, culture and strategy. I have learned the ability to adapt through practice.
  • Meeting some amazing people, getting inspired by them and making friends for life.
  • Working with some amazing technical leaders/legends and learning from them.
  • Over the years I have grown as a human being and become a better version of myself. I can see great improvement in my patience level and ability to care for others.

The hard part

  • Coping with too many changes in the environment that happened too fast.
  • Few people and circumstances that I wish were not there but have taught me life lessons.

I'm truly grateful for everyone and everything good that happened. For what was not so good, I believe it was meant to be that way as part of a greater plan that the Divine has for me.

Everything that happens, happens for good.

The answer is yes and no. It matters when The organization and your colleagues judges you based on the title.
