eCommerce and eRetail continue to evolve, faster than anyone imagined it would. Amazon continues to win, in all categories.

Another metric that shocked me, and everyone around me, was the percentage of households in the US who are now Prime members. Over 60%. Wow.

While Amazon is offering more and more items free same day, eBay is stepping in with free 3 day delivery across the US. Too little, too late?

Who can compete? How can they compete? Can they make money doing it?

You can complete if you take the emphasis away from price. I have a good customer that pulled out of Amazon and began selling on eBay and on their own web site. All of the money they were spending on Amazon fees, they spent on marketing. They gained more control over their business and grew revenue and profits, substantially.
