The 19th China International Futures Conference to Be Held on December 7 in Shenzhen
The one-day conference, themed "Leveraging Futures Market Functions to Serve Chinese Modernization," will center on key topics such as macroeconomic trends, the deepening of reforms to strengthen futures market functions, effective risk prevention, and fostering high-quality development. Discussions aim to address maintaining industrial and supply chain security, economic and financial stability, and better serving the real economy, contributing to the construction of a new development paradigm and advancing Chinese modernization.
2024 marks a pivotal year for implementing the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and achieving critical milestones in the "14th Five-Year Plan." This year, China’s futures market, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, has made significant progress. It has adhered to the principles of reform, upheld financial security, and effectively implemented key policies such as the new "National Nine Measures" and the "1+N" capital market policy framework. Notable achievements include supporting price stability for essential commodities, lowering operational costs for enterprises, and contributing to rural revitalization through initiatives like "Futures + Insurance."
The conference will feature a main forum and four specialized sub-forums. The main forum will include keynote speeches by domestic and international experts alongside two traditional panel discussions: "Exchange Leadership Roundtable" and "Institutional Leadership Roundtable." The sub-forums will explore topics such as:
1. Futures Analysts Forum
2. "Futures+" Driving High-Quality Industrial Development
3. Technology Empowering Futures Industry Development
4. Risk Management in Financial Derivatives
