Young Scientists Journal reposted this
I have just spent a pleasant hour reviewing science research papers written by teenagers for Young Scientists Journal, the peer-review online science journal written for and by school students aged 12-20. https://lnkd.in/eNfAaQfa I feel immensely proud that, after 18 years since I co-founded the journal with Ghazwan Butrous whilst I was head of science at The King's School, Canterbury, the journal is thriving, still run entirely by school students globally, with minimal adult input. I am one of a team of Academic Advisors that periodically review submissions that the student peer reviewers have asked for help with. It is a privilege and a pleasure to be able to help these young scientists on their way to publication. Thank you to Patrick K. who leads the team of Academic Advisors, to Ben Landymore, my successor as mentor, and all the other supporters of the project. If any of my network of scientists and science teachers would be interested in volunteering as an Academic Advisor, please fill in this form: https://lnkd.in/eZtPpn_b
