If you're sourcing hard-to-find parts, STOP spraying. While you can't control: ↳ Availability of rare parts ↳ Market prices ↳ Online data ↳ Delivery times You can control: ↳ Sourcing methods ↳ Quality of supply network ↳ Accuracy of RFQs ↳ Secondary sources Casting a wide net doesn't lead to optimal results in the spot market for electronic components. Spraying leads to inflated prices due to "fake demand," wasted time, and strained relationships with suppliers. A laser-focused approach is far more effective. Makat uses proprietary technology to quickly and efficiently secure the parts you need while maintaining transparent pricing with a fixed markup. Want to see it in action? The manufacturer with the lowest quoted price is rarely the one with the lowest “actual, all-in” price. Some manufacturers will drive the quoted price as low as possible to win your business. Then they make up for it once the PO is placed and production starts flowing. Hidden fees, additions, quality escapes, and more. Poor performing manufacturer requiring you to fly out to observe every production run? Make sure to build that into your all-in cost too. All-in price is critical. #manufacturing #beverageindustry

In today's global economy, businesses must constantly assess the most cost-effective and efficient ways to meet their packaging needs. One increasingly popular solution is importing magnetic rigid boxes instead of manufacturing them domestically. Here's why: 🌍 Cost Efficiency: Overseas manufacturers can produce high-quality magnetic rigid boxes at a fraction of the cost. Hand labor is high in the US, therefore moving rigid boxes overseas can vastly reduce production costs. ⚙️ Advanced Manufacturing Capabilities: Many international suppliers have specialized equipment and expertise in producing these boxes. Their experience and scale often lead to superior craftsmanship and consistency, ensuring that your packaging not only protects your products but also enhances your brand image. 📈 Focus on Core Competencies: By outsourcing packaging production, businesses can focus on what they do best—whether it's product development, marketing, or customer service—while leaving the specialized task of packaging to the experts. In conclusion, while domestic manufacturing has its benefits, the advantages of importing magnetic rigid boxes are clear. It's a strategic move that can lead to cost savings, better quality, and greater business flexibility. #SupplyChain #PackagingSolutions #GlobalTrade #BusinessStrategy #CostEfficiency

Price negotiation during the development phase of an electronic component is important for four main reasons. 1️⃣ First, negotiating prices during development allows for better cost planning and budgeting. Manufacturers can better predict and control their overall costs by securing competitive prices for components during the development phase. This can help prevent unexpected cost overruns and ensure that the product can be produced at a competitive price. 2️⃣ Second, price negotiation during the development phase can help improve the product's overall quality. By securing competitive prices for components, manufacturers can invest in higher quality materials and components, improving the product's performance and durability. This can enhance the product's value and appeal to customers. 3️⃣ Third, price negotiation during the development phase can help ensure the product's timely delivery. By securing competitive prices for components, manufacturers can ensure that they have the necessary resources and materials to complete the development and production process on schedule. This helps prevent delays and disruptions, which can negatively impact the product's overall success. 4️⃣ Finally, price negotiation during development can foster relationships with suppliers and other partners. By engaging in fair and transparent negotiations, manufacturers can build trust and goodwill with their suppliers, which can help to ensure a long-term, successful partnership. This can be particularly important in the highly competitive world of electronic component manufacturing, where strong relationships with suppliers can be a critical factor in success. In conclusion, price negotiation during the development phase of an electronic component is essential for a number of reasons. By securing competitive prices for components, manufacturers can better plan and control their costs, improve product quality, ensure timely delivery, and foster strong relationships with suppliers. Overall, effective price negotiation can be a critical factor in the success of an electronic product. 🎯 Get in touch if you want to learn more about component pricing🎯 #engineering #manufacturing #innovation #supplychain ------------------------------ If you found this post valuable, please like, comment, and repost to help others discover it as well.
