We were honored to host a special screening of “Our Schools, Our Town” a documentary on the desegregation of the Montclair Public Schools and the history of the magnet school system. Masiel Rodriquez-Vars, producer of the film, and Dr. Carole Willis, a key architect of the plan and leader of the desegregation movement joined us for an important discussion after the screening. Also part of the conversation was our Teen Director, Naomi Wallace who went through the Montclair school system and Danny Morris, a former parent of Montclair school system students.
