How to put your future employer in a safe position: #futureemployer #safe #intervene #freedom #previouscompanies #CVs #Motivationletters #acquaintances #currentaddress #Canada #Montreal. There is a time for everything on earth. To all immigrants in Canada, You have your rights and you are totally free to choose which of your previous companies to list on your CVs based on the needs of the moments. Conclusion: Make sure to use your social Media, as an information platform to advise nicely and respectfully those companies you haven't listed on your CVs or Motivation Letters not to intervene in your new job by any means without your approval. It puts your current employer and you in a safe position not receiving anything from outside about you. The same goes to all acquaintances or your current address unless you named them as references. As said it applies strictly and formally to my current situation until further notice.

New immigrants to Canada often find themselves taking on odd jobs during their initial months for various reasons. Firstly, the process of settling into a new country can be financially challenging. Many newcomers may have to wait for their credentials to be recognized or for job opportunities in their field to arise. In the meantime, they rely on odd jobs to cover their basic living expenses. Additionally, language barriers and unfamiliarity with the job market can make it difficult for immigrants to secure stable employment right away. Taking on odd jobs allows them to gain valuable experience, build networks, and earn income while they navigate their new environment. Despite the temporary nature of these roles, they serve as stepping stones towards broader opportunities and integration within Canadian society. #Immigration #Integration #Opportunity

Following a LinkedIn trend initiated by Courtney Summer Myers 🇬🇧, I’ve created a banner focused on immigrants here in Norway. 🇳🇴 It can often feel challenging for us living in a foreign country to find job opportunities. Inspired by this great idea, I wanted to share my own version of the banner to unite all of us immigrants in Norway as we raise our voices for equal consideration in the job market. Personally, what I hope for, and I believe most immigrants would agree, is fair treatment of our applications. If we meet the qualifications, have relevant education, and possibly even more experience than others, the least we can ask for is the opportunity to come in for an interview and explore whether we are the best fit for the role. An interview represents that you’ve evaluated all applications equally, calling in all qualified candidates, local or not. Who gets hired is ultimately the company’s decision, and they can have many reasons for that. But at the very least, we deserve the chance to meet, connect, and show you our potential. 💼🌍 You can download the banner here: https://lnkd.in/dY6W5ren #EqualOpportunities #ImmigrantVoices #DiversityAndInclusion #FairHiringPractices #JobOpportunitiesForAll #Immigrants #ImmigrantsInNorway #TalentHasNoBorders #InclusiveHiring #NorwayWorkforce #DiversityMatters #EqualConsideration #NorwayJobMarket #ImmigrantSupport #GlobalTalent

I'm not a Millennial, but I belong to a generation that doesn't prioritise ironing. In our 16 years of marriage and with our own home, we've never owned a traditional iron. So, if you've ever noticed me looking a bit disorganised, now you know why. Laundries haven't been on my usual list of places to visit. Today, after 18 months in Sydney, it marked my first time picking up a cloth in a laundry, and oh my goodness, a red box handed me my shirt! I'd never seen this in BAQ before. Technology is fantastic when it makes our lives easier. I could pick up the process anytime after receiving a code, and that's it. At that moment, it dawned on me, "This is how an ATS works!" Even though recruiters play a crucial role in the evaluation process, a bot assists them in screening the short-listed candidates and identifying the best ones for the role. If you're interested in learning more about recruitment in Australia, let me help you. Many immigrant professionals with a high level of English proficiency are eager to apply for their first job in this beautiful country. #immigration #professionals #australia

It’s possible to make certain changes to your Express Entry profile after receiving an invitation to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence (PR) without issues. Some include; 1. Duration of work experience: This can be adjusted, provided it doesn’t affect your eligibility for obtaining your invitation to apply for PR. 4.
