Have you noticed the craziness on college campuses??? Particularly for parents of young women heading off to college in the fall, I offer a 2-hour program dealing with the external and internal risks they'll be facing while away. This is not about "kick and punch," these are strategies to address such things as: * Safety on/off campus * Safety working off campus * Spring/Fall breaks * Reckless roommate concerns * Navigating social events on/off campus * PROTESTS/PROTESTERS on/off campus * Early warning signs of dating "Mr. WRONG" * Is he dating 'you' or your bank account This covers areas of the physical, fiscal and social. I offer this to small in-home groups (parent hosted), #PTA, #church or other #nonprofit organizations as a 50/50 fundraiser, or to any #insuranceagent #insuranceagency #insurancecompany #insurancebroker #financialadvisor #wealthmanagement firm seeking to provide "added value" to your client relationships or prospective client recruitment. PARENTS OF COLLEGE-BOUND STUDENTS: I offer a two-hour mother/daughter seminar for H.S. senior girls and their moms covering a myriad of potential safety concerns -- including protests/activism on campus, whether your daughter encounters such events or is potentially drawn into them. Where are the boundaries of concern? While I 'can' do the same as a father/son seminar with this and associated issues covered, the interest remains with the mother/daughter event -- but I 'can' do the same for the guys. This can be done in private home settings or larger settings. For #nonprofits, I also offer this as a fundraising event with 50/50 split for ticket sales. I've also had #insurancecompanies #insurancebrokers sponsor/host this for such personal lines clients as a value-add, if interested. On yesterday’s BEK TV News' Ladies of Another View, Chris McMahon discussed his upcoming book, "Faithful Finances: Six Steps to Establishing a Catholic Financial Life," covering SMART goals, estate planning, and charitable giving. “The great news is that technology has actually pulled back the veil of secrecy… and people can see everything that they are holding and the values that they are supporting."
