Hey Frank Monkhouse, look the magic we made yesterday.
When I started as an iGaming writer in 2013, I wish I had the kind of resources that people like myself, Frank, and Matthew Gover are putting together.
We've shared everything you need to get started in what I'd like to call a fun crash course for sports betting writers. If you're in the online casino part of things, its worth a watch too.
Here's today's post, and I hope you learn a thing or two.
Seen Frank's course yet? here's where to find it: https://lnkd.in/dyKQuWvB

Hello everyone and welcome to my LinkedIn page! For my first post on this platform here are three sports betting rules I like to follow. More posts coming soon!
Working for a sports betting company has a ton of perks, but I can't really bet on live sports.
So, it got me thinking—how would I bet on my team and build my ultimate 5-leg parlay for the next sprint?
Here’s my bet slip:
1️⃣ Bet on my team covering the spread for velocity
2️⃣ Sprint Injections: Over/Under 3 story points? I'll take the under
3️⃣ Prop bet on hours spent in meetings: set the line at 15.5 hours and hammer the under!
4️⃣ Anytime scorer on actually circling back on something from Slack
5️⃣ Prop bet on having clear goals before the sprint even starts (bet on yourself!)
If we hit all five? That’s not just a win—that’s a championship moment. 🏆
What bets would you put on your team or yourself for the next sprint?
Tell me your parlay plays in the comments!
Is online sports betting turning the U.S. into a nation of habitual gamblers? With the rapid expansion of mobile betting in the U.S., we could be facing the next public health crisis.
Research suggests that people who engage in sports betting appear to develop gambling problems at particularly high rates, with 20-somethings as the fastest-growing group of gamblers.
Since suicidality is more common among individuals with gambling disorder than the general population, we need to work hard and fast to educate parents on the progression from online gaming to gambling.
Check out this short documentary that discusses the risks of online sports betting.
