Nature abhors a vacuum. Following the binning of Tier 1 last November by Lord Justice Birss (at least for the moment) there was much gnashing of teeth as study after study had demonstrated the importance of an online portal bringing together resources and signposting further help. The Law Society 21st Century Project Working Group built their Green Paper entirely around Tier 1. My attention has been drawn to this initiative by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme Foundation or TDS Foundation, see link. This takes you to a detailed paper written by Dr Jennifer Harris proposing a "My Housing Issue" Gateway Service which the paper describes as a "...website to signpost both private and social housing tenants to the appropriate forum for making complaints when things go wrong. In doing so, it aims to reduce confusion and simplify access to redress, whilst increasing tenants’ knowledge of their rights and available options." This is a great initiative with significant potential for helping those in the Private Rented Sector (PRS) to find the information and support they need. It might possibly also signpost solicitors who can support tenants in the PRS. The gateway is being built by PocketApps, funded by the Foundation and we wish it well. I commend the paper to all those with an interest in making things better in civil justice. Great to see materials created by Law for Life (Advicenow) involved. #financialdevelopmentmonday Today’s chapters Exodus 37-39 Moses gives instructions to the children of Israel how to the Lord want the terbenavle to be built. He calls on all artisans willing and able to help with the work. This job is led by Bezalel and Aholiab. When we hear about financial development we often think about money. Fair enough but there is more to financial development than just managing money. Here we look at how the money is earned, saved, invested and saved. The work ethic of Bazalel and Aholiab was admirable. They did most of the work. They were skilled at it too. Children should start to learn about work from an early age. When they are still young. As soon as they start walking and playing with toys, their first duty should be to tidy up their playing area by returning their toys to the toy box. As they grow older, they begin to offer to help when someone is cleaning the house or cooking. It takes a lot of patience to work with children. If you are pressed for time, they become annoying. Remember that that little annoyance is all in the process of learning. You need to have bucket loads of patience. Children learn by repetition. So patience is key. Increase their work load as they grow older praising and rewarding them for their effort. Children thrive on the praises of the adults around them. Reward every effort with praise. When they start early, it gets ingrained in them. As they approach puberty, their chore list should inlude cleaning dishes, the table, dusting surfaces around the house and spreading their bed. If they have younger siblings, encourage them to help them with their toys or even supervise their younger siblings tidying up process. If they have talents start nurturing them at this stage and help them view it as work that can be monetised and not just a talent or something they love to do. It’s important for them to love what they do but they also need to know that they can earn from it.

🌟 Empowering Nonprofits to Maximize Their Mission 🌟 At SpiceX, we believe that nonprofits should be able to focus on their mission, not get bogged down by complex workflows and administrative burdens. That's why we're passionate about partnering with organizations to create efficient, scalable solutions through our low-code/no-code platform. A few examples that show the difference SpiceX makes: Conklin Davis Center for the Visually Impaired used our platform to streamline their case tracking and reporting processes, which improved visibility and accelerated reimbursement. This allows them to redirect more time and resources to their clients. Childhelp.org, a vital resource for children in need, leveraged SpiceX to simplify operations, reducing overhead and allowing their team to devote more energy toward their mission. Nonprofits deserve technology that amplifies their impact, and with SpiceX, they get a solution that's adaptable, scalable, and requires minimal technical lift. We’re proud to support these organizations and look forward to empowering many more. 👉 If your nonprofit could benefit from a solution like this, let’s connect and explore how we can support your mission. We have a special program for nonprofits that make an impact. ❤️ #Nonprofit #Impact #LowCode #NoCode #TechForGood #Innovation #SpiceX #MissionDriven #CaseStudy
