🙌 Congratulations to our Poster Award Winners! Wind energy is constantly evolving and innovating. Much attention is paid to bigger turbines and higher power ratings. But there is much more innovation to modern wind turbines. Our Poster Area at #WindEurope2025 displayed state-of-the-art wind turbine research. Over the last few days, the Poster Area was the place for meaningful conversations between researchers, poster authors and visitors. More than 200 posters competed in this year's Poster Awards. The winning posters show the range of wind energy-related research fields: from bird monitoring to floating offshore wind, from sensitivity studies to solving intermittency - we congratulate the 7 winners: 🏅 Bird monitoring in DemoSATH LAB, Ane Ugena Ispizua, SAITEC 🏅 Floating Wind Maintenance: Data-Driven Insights for Major Component Replacement (MCR), Dalina Alejandra Vecchi, PEAK Wind 🏅 Onsite Major Component Replacement Strategy for Floating Offshore Wind: Breaking Down the Known-Unknowns, Manu Centeno Telleria, Mondragon Unibertsitatea 🏅 Field investigation into mooring Load Reduction Device performance in hurricane conditions at an offshore test site, Tom Doyle, Dublin Offshore 🏅 Solving intermittency - designing renewable energy plants for a 24/7 constant power output, Marten de Vries, Vattenfall 🏅 Numerical evaluation of the smearing effect in a spinner-mounted lidar for wind field reconstruction, Esperanza Andrea Soto Sagredo, DTU - Technical University of Denmark 🏅 Enhancing structural health monitoring with digital models ambroise cadoret, GreenWITS 🏅 A sensitivity study of fatigue life of monopile foundations using long term strain measurements and SCADA data, Ahmed Mujtaba, Vrije Universiteit Brussel

Thank you WindEurope for another great event and to the judging panel for putting our poster in such great company. We're very proud of the team! And for anyone who didn't get to see it, our poster shows the results of an offshore demonstration of our Load Reduction Device for flooding offshore wind. Get in touch to hear more!

Let me know when Europe would prefer 40 Megawatt Wind Turbines... instead of 10, 12... maybe 15 MW 3 bladed Tube Towers.
